Q1. I don't have a computer yet. Will I still be able to take the class.
A1. Yes. However, you should have access to a computer so you can practice what you
learn in the class. If you don't put it to use, you may soon forget it. Try to locate a friend or
relative who would let you use their computer to practice what you learn. Also, many public
libraries offer free computer time.

Q2. I have a computer, but I only have a dial-up internet connection. Can I still use eBay?
A2. Yes, it will still work for eBay just like any other website.

Q3. I don't have a credit card. Can I still use eBay and Paypal?
A3. Yes. You need a checking account. Many banks have a free checking account available
you can open with as little as $1. To sell, you may need to become ID Verified. This is a
process that costs $5 and verifies you are who you say you are.

Q4. Will this class teach me everything I need to know to buy or sell on eBay?
A4. Yes. You will learn everything you need to know to sell on eBay. This includes how to
register, how to take good photographs of your items, how to research prices, how to
prepare a good listing, completing the sale, and more.

Q5. Will I receive any CEU credits for taking these classes.
A5. For those interested in getting Continuing Education Units (CEUs), we are authorized to issue CEU credits. For the "Basics of Selling on eBay" class, 1.0 CEU will be issued to students who complete an at-home assignment following the class. This assignment should take about 4 hours. Please note that the additional assignment and the CEU credit are completely optional.
